BBC Radio Manchester’s Gaz Drinkwater and Joe McGrath talk about transfers within the newest episode of The Devils’ Advocate.
Gaz believes United supervisor, Michael Carrick, may need some onerous selections to make in relation to midfield this season.

“I’ve got a lot of thoughts on our centre-midfield and some concerns,” he mentioned on the BBC Sounds podcast.
“In a perfect world, Youri Tielemans needs a more defensive-minded companion, which Andrey Santos is. As a centre-midfield pairing, it really works fairly effectively.
“But there’s simply no means United do not play Kobbie Mainoo. Michael Carrick loves him. If Mainoo performs he needs Santos, so a Tielemans and Mainoo partnership does not fairly match.
“So it makes me assume we must always go for one more centre-midfielder who can be our marquee signing. Someone like Eduardo Camavinga. But I believe that is it.”
