A person stabbed and wounded two tourists Tuesday morning near the historic Acropolis in Athens, Greece’s high vacationer attraction, police stated.
The assailant attacked a person and a lady, each Greek Americans, with a knife on a pedestrian road near an entrance to the Acropolis itself and near the entrance to the Acropolis Museum, which lies at the foot of the Acropolis hill. The lady suffered mild accidents to the leg, whereas the man was extra critically damage with wounds to the arm, police stated.
The attacker was detained at the scene, whereas the two victims had been transported to the hospital by ambulance, authorities stated. The identification of the attacker was not instantly clear, however police stated he appeared to have been affected by psychological issues.
