Veteran NFL quarterback Cooper Rush, who has spent most of his profession with the Dallas Cowboys, is signing with a brand new group.
Rush is becoming a member of the Atlanta Falcons, the group announced Wednesday.
The information comes as Falcons quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. are dealing with accidents. Tagovailoa will miss the beginning of coaching camp with a minor harm however is predicted again “sooner than later,” Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski mentioned.

Rush is getting into his tenth NFL season after going undrafted out of Central Michigan in 2017.
