Trask, a second-round decide in 2021, completed his rookie contract with the Buccaneers earlier than re-signing with the membership final offseason. They then launched him throughout roster cuts. Trask then hung out with the Falcons’ apply squad within the second half of the season.
Trask has familiarity with Panthers head coach Dave Canales, who was the Bucs’ offensive coordinator in 2023.
Carolina at the moment has Kenny Pickett and Haynes King at QB on its roster behind starter Bryce Young.
