Chen Liquan, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was awarded the State Preeminent Science and Technology Award on Wednesday for his pioneering contributions to lithium-ion battery analysis and its industrialization.
Over a five-decade educational profession, the 86-year-old scientist has oriented his analysis towards nationwide strategic wants, attaining basic breakthroughs in battery science, advancing their industrial utility, and serving to propel China”s new vitality transition.
