Israel Police arrested four settlers on Saturday following an alleged attack on a NCS information crew in the West Bank village of Sinjil, NCS reported.
According to the report, the Israeli residents of the West Bank blocked the crew’s automobile because it sought to go away the realm moments after arriving, with IDF troopers arriving to help quickly after receiving the incident report.
NCS added that the settlers have been armed with picket and metallic rods, stones, and a knife, smashing the windshield of the automobile and trying to puncture the tires.
Israel Police mentioned they uncovered a knife and a number of other golf equipment following a search of the suspects’ automobile, including that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
“The Israel Police and the IDF view any manifestation of violence or causing damage to property very seriously, especially when it concerns media personnel performing their work,” the Israel Police mentioned.
The NCS crew, which was accompanied by extra journalists, was in Sinjil overlaying the one-year anniversary of Saif Musallet’s loss of life, a Palestinian-American killed by Israeli settlers in July 2025.
At the time, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee described Musallet’s killing as a “criminal and terrorist act,” with the sufferer’s household telling NCS that no suspects have been arrested to date.

Earlier on Saturday, US Democratic lawmaker Ro Khanna mentioned he was detained by armed Israeli settlers throughout a West Bank go to this week, based on a Reuters report, with the US rep. describing the incident as an unfiltered take a look at the human toll of “Israeli occupation.”

Israel Police didn’t instantly reply to Reuters‘ request for remark, nor did the US Embassy in Jerusalem.
Khanna, a progressive California lawmaker in the US House of Representatives, is weighing a 2028 presidential run.
