Daniel Franke has left his role as govt funding director and workforce lead for expertise investments at M Ventures, the company VC arm of German science and biotechnology company Merck KGaA.
A former GCV Rising Star, Franke joined M Ventures as an affiliate in 2019 after supporting the workforce as an analyst as a part of the M Ventures fellowship. His areas of funding focus included semiconductors, photonics, optics and pc processors.
He didn’t disclose his subsequent transfer.
M Ventures was based in 2009 to spend money on the biotechnology and expertise sectors. The unit backs startups engaged on drug improvement, life science instruments, electronics, frontier expertise and sustainability.
