A video from April 12, taken by a passenger on board the MV Hondius, the hantavirus-hit cruise ship, reveals the ship’s captain saying the dying of somebody on board the earlier day. Captain Jan Dobrogowski says the dying is believed to be because of “natural causes.” Oceanwide Expeditions, the ship’s operator, mentioned in a press release, “At the time of the announcement, the cause of death of this individual was unknown.” At the time of publication, the trigger nonetheless wasn’t confirmed to be hantavirus.
