Bernie Moreno used her for instance throughout the hearing of an individual who was “shamed” over what they mentioned about Covid-19. Fauci, who led the US authorities response to the Covid-19 pandemic, appeared after being subpoenaed by Sen. Rand Paul and invoked his Fifth Amendment proper towards self-incrimination, refusing to testify simply minutes into the hearing.
