Two quakes rattle Venezuela within a minute, causing damage and state of emergency

Venezuela’s northern coast was struck by two highly effective earthquakes within a minute on Wednesday, triggering constructing collapses and sending residents fleeing into the streets. Extensive damage has been reported within the capital, and authorities have declared a state of emergency within the nation, already mired in political and financial disaster.
