Two people climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City on Wednesday afternoon with a banner selling peace and “the power of love.”
The people have been seen carrying masks and appeared to get engaged.
The couple had a banner that learn, “When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace,” in accordance to video and photographs from the scene.
It was not clear how the pair managed to attain the top of the 1,454-foot landmark.
The NYPD mentioned it was investigating the stunt, which occurred at about midday on the Fifth Avenue constructing. No accidents have been reported.
An Instagram publish exhibits video from one of the climbers on a platform close to the top of the constructing.
Dozens of police are responding to the Empire State Building. Part of the response consists of personnel from the Emergency Service Unit.
