There is a protracted checklist of Ok League gamers who’ve, sooner or later, have had a reference to TNT FC – whether or not that be coaching with them or really enjoying for them. Current FC Anyang vice captain Han Ka-ram falls into each these classes as somebody who started coaching with the membership so as to give himself yet another probability of making a profession again in his native Korea. Ok League United spoke to Han Ka-ram to seek out out what his TNT FC expertise was like for the June TNT FC Feature of the Month.

Han Ka-ram started his skilled soccer profession in Germany in 2017, turning out for FC Oberneuland in the Bremenliga. He established himself as a midfielder who may pop up with the odd objective and help, and represented the membership at the native Bremen stage and in the Regionalliga Nord, to not point out DFB Pokal, for round 4 years earlier than transferring to Sportfreunde Lotte in the Regionalliga West.

Han’s closing cease in Germany was again in the north with BSV Schwarz-Weiß Rehden earlier than returning to Korea..

But Han says that his return to Korea wasn’t merely to hitch a Ok League membership.

“When I fully returned to Korea in June 2023, I had actually decided to quit football and go to the military. So I was only training lightly on my own at the time. Then, during the winter transfer window, my agent told me I should challenge myself one more time. I started preparing on my own, but I realised that even if an opportunity came, I wouldn’t be able to take it properly in that condition.

“At the time, Park Yi-young, who had lately been enjoying in Cambodia and whom I knew from Germany, launched me to TNT. I already knew about the membership beforehand, too. Yi-young had additionally come again to Korea and was getting ready to coach, so he related me with CEO Kim Tae-ryung, and that’s how I began coaching there.”

In truth, like many footballers looking to get back into the game, Han says he knew all about TNT even before Park Yi-young had offered to put him in touch with the CEO.

“Actually, earlier than Yi-young beneficial TNT to me, I requested him first if he may join me. Most soccer gamers in Korea in all probability learn about TNT. Even although they’re technically a K5 membership, folks assume of them as “not really a K5-level club.” So much of gamers learn about them.”

The reason was simple. If Han was to give K League a proper go, then he would need to be in the best possible shape.

“At the time I didn’t have a crew, and whenever you’re with no membership, I personally assume it’s not possible to correctly put together for trials except you’re coaching with a crew. In these brief trial alternatives, you might want to present your talents instantly. For somebody in my scenario, TNT was the good setting. Yi-young additionally informed me about the coaching setting there. So from my perspective, it’s a membership I’m very grateful to.”

Initially, actually playing for TNT wasn’t something that had crossed Han’s mind but once he joined, circumstances changed and it became clear what sort of club TNT is.

“I knew TNT performed in K5, however truthfully after I first joined, I didn’t assume I’d really find yourself enjoying in K5. I solely deliberate to remain till the winter switch window. I didn’t assume past that.”

“I’d heard TNT was an unbiased membership, nevertheless it felt far more organised than I anticipated. One time there was actually heavy snow and outside coaching had been scheduled. Normally, if a membership doesn’t have correct techniques in place, they’d simply cancel coaching. But that morning they instantly informed everybody to come back to a health club in Yeongdeungpo, and all of us did circuit coaching collectively there.

“Seeing that they already had an alternative facility ready, and staff who could immediately respond to situations like that, made me realise the club was much more organised than I had expected.”

Han says that his TNT expertise helped me significantly in becoming a member of FC Anyang.

“It gave me confidence. If your body isn’t ready, even if you join a professional team and train with pro players again, it’s hard. You need confidence in training before you can properly show your ability.

If TNT hadn’t existed, I think I would’ve gone into winter training looking pretty miserable.”

TNT FC have made it no secret that the purpose is to, finally, attain Ok League. Han says that that is one thing he may positively see taking place.

“I think it’s definitely possible that we could see them in the K League one day. Maybe before joining them, I could face them as an opponent first – or maybe even play for them, who knows? Of course, since I’m with Anyang now, I can’t say I’ll go there, but maybe someday there’ll be another good opportunity to work together.”
