Arusha. Tanzania is stepping up efforts to place its higher education sector on the global stage, with consultants and college leaders assembly in Arusha to chart methods aimed toward bettering worldwide competitiveness through analysis, innovation and educational collaboration.
The consultants are anticipated to undertake resolutions to strengthen the nation’s higher education system, with a specific give attention to analysis, know-how and partnerships with worldwide establishments.

Presenting on pathways for reworking college internationalisation through global benchmarking and greatest practices, Dr Joseph Cosam of the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) stated regional and worldwide collaboration remained important in bettering the standard of higher education.
He stated IUCEA continues to implement scholar and educational workers mobility programmes throughout East African Community member states whereas supporting cross-border analysis initiatives.
“This is aimed at nurturing a generation of professionals who can operate effectively in both regional and international environments,” he stated.
