DODOMA: THE Tanzanian authorities has prioritised the implementation of the brand new Education Policy, enlargement of technical coaching and elevated use of know-how in studying as half of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology’s budget priorities for the 2026/2027 monetary yr.

Presenting the ministry’s budget estimates in Parliament in Dodoma on May 7, 2026, the Minister for  Education, Science and Technology Professor Adolf Mkenda stated the priorities are aimed toward enhancing the standard of schooling, strengthening abilities improvement and enhancing data to fulfill the calls for of Tanzania’s Development Vision 2050.

Professor Mkenda stated the ministry will proceed investing closely in preparations for obligatory 10-year schooling, technical and vocational schooling and coaching (TVET), integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in schooling, in addition to the promotion of science, know-how and innovation.
