Sudhan Gurung returns as Home Minister; Mahabir Pun joins the cabinet in PM Balen Shah's expansion
Sudan Gurung was sworn in as Home Minister and Mahabir Pun as Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation.

Prime Minister Balen Shah has expanded the cupboard right now. Sudan Gurung was sworn in as Home Minister and Mahabir Pun as Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation. President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of workplace and secrecy to each Gurung and Pun.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Speaker of the House, Chair of the National Assembly, ministers, and members of parliament.

Gurung had beforehand held the Home Minister portfolio as properly. He had resigned amid an issue over his property disclosure, however was reinstated after a government-formed investigation committee gave him a clear chit.

Similarly, Pun had served as Minister for Education, Science and Technology within the Sushila Karki-led authorities that was shaped following the Gen-Z motion. He had resigned from the ministerial put up forward of the March 5 elections to contest the polls.

Sudan Gurung is a Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) member of parliament elected from Gorkha-1, whereas Pun is an impartial MP elected from Myagdi.
