Lynchburg, Va. — University of Lynchburg athletics had six student-athletes named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State Team, introduced by the group on Tuesday.
Across the state of Virginia, 36 schools and universities had student-athletes chosen to the VaSID Academic All-State Team, totaling 215 student-athletes. To be chosen to the VaSID Academic All-State Team, honorees will need to have a cumulative GPA of three.25-or-better and will need to have been a sophomore or increased in the course of the 2025-26 tutorial 12 months.
Each consultant is acknowledged for his or her tutorial excellence inside their respective sport. Lynchburg’s picks embrace Alan Van Asch (Men’s Golf), Reid Rouse (Men’s Soccer), Ashley Hair (Women’s Tennis), Sophia Schorr (Equestrian/Swimming), Madelyn Boyce (Women’s Soccer/Track & Field), and Alyssa Talayumptewa (Softball).
