(NCS) — Two weeks earlier than his final live performance, Ozzy Osbourne’s doctors told him he was dying and urged him to not go forward with the date, his widow, Sharon Osbourne, has revealed.
The British heavy steel star, who died precisely a 12 months in the past, was welcomed as a hero when he performed his “Back to the Beginning” present in his dwelling metropolis of Birmingham, England, on July 5 final 12 months.

But for the final two weeks of his life he “was the happiest I had ever seen him,” she stated. “It was just so great to see him every day smiling.”
The occasion, which she described as an “absolute joy,” proved an enormous enhance for Ozzy at a really troublesome time. “He had been so down, so depressed because he knew it was the end,” she stated, including that he had been “so afraid that he wouldn’t be able to sing.”
Osbourne was in Birmingham to mark the town’s first ever Ozzy Day, in reminiscence of her husband. She stated he was “proud” of his “humble beginnings” and have become tearful when requested why it was necessary for her to be there.
