FC Schalke 04 have introduced a contract extension for Soufiane El-Faouzi.
The 23-year-old has signed a new deal operating till 2030, with Schalke confirming that it would not embody a launch clause.

By extending his contract, Schalke have successfully fended off curiosity in El-Faouzi after he performed a key position within the membership’s promotion to the Bundesliga final season.
“Soufiane brings exactly the quality and mentality we want in our squad. The contract extension is an important signal for our direction – both in sporting terms and with regard to the development of squad value,” stated Schalke director {of professional} soccer Youri Mulder.
“After his performances at Schalke, he is of course a highly sought-after player on the market. With this extension, we are also recognising his achievements. Our focus is on ensuring that, as a young player, he can develop optimally in his current environment and continue to play an important role for us.”
“I feel very comfortable at Schalke, especially within the team. We had good conversations about my future,” added Soufiane El-Faouzi.
