Rep. Himes on Iran’s nuclear functionality: ‘It’s not mud. This stuff is down there and recoverable.’
Asked by Jake Tapper about unique photographs obtained by NCS that present Iran could also be rebuilding suspected nuclear amenities, Congressman Jim Himes says, “All of the nuclear materials are still there. They’re just buried behind a bunch of rubble… I think they’ve been doing work to try to figure out, how can we recover the materials that are still there? By the way, it’s not just — the president keeps talking about nuclear dust. It’s not dust. This stuff is down there and recoverable.”
