The French artist JR, recognized for his playful and infrequently large-scale installations, is unveiling one in all his greatest initiatives to this point: ‘Wrapping’ Pont Neuf, the oldest standing bridge over the Seine in Paris, in a tribute to a well-known art undertaking by Christo and Jeanne-Claude. NCS’s Melissa Bell went inside JR’s ‘cave’ through the work’s installation. The opening of the work has since been delayed attributable to injury to the construction throughout windy climate.
