ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday hosted the sixth meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Science Foundation, with Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi calling for stronger regional collaboration in science, know-how and innovation.
Chairing the meeting in Islamabad, Magsi mentioned Pakistan was proud to host the sixth board meeting of the ECO Science Foundation, describing science, analysis and innovation as the inspiration of sustainable improvement and long-term prosperity.
He careworn the necessity to design sensible and result-oriented programmes that tackle the priorities and improvement wants of ECO member states.
The minister underscored the significance of strengthening scientific cooperation amongst ECO international locations, saying the inspiration had a key function to play in selling regional improvement and shared prosperity.
