SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A juvenile male was grazed by a bullet in the realm of United Driving School in Springfield on Monday afternoon, based on police.
The incident occurred on Gaucher Street and Roosevelt Avenue, which can be near the High School of Science and Technology.
Police mentioned round 1:10 p.m., they responded to the realm for a shotspotter activation. There, they positioned a a juvenile male who was grazed by a bullet and one other juvenile male with a non-life-threatening harm.
The incident occurred after the high school dismissed from summer time school courses. In a press release, a spokesperson with Springfield Public Schools mentioned some college students might need witnessed the incident and help employees will likely be made obtainable on Tuesday.
“The safety, well-being, and emotional health of our students and staff remain our highest priority, and we will continue working closely with the Springfield Police Department as the investigation moves forward,” the assertion learn.
