Many people are trapped inside a shopping mall that partially collapsed in an explosion after a big 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Japanese metropolis of Kumamoto on Tuesday, based on Japan’s public broadcaster NHK.
It is unclear what number of people had been trapped inside when the second ground of the constructing collapsed, NHK reported, citing hearth officers. About 50 people had been injured in the earthquake, NHK reported.
