Christine Romans, the senior enterprise correspondent for NBC News and former NCS personality, will now host an NBC News Now present, the community revealed in a letter to the employees.

NBC News president of editorial Rebecca Blumenstein and government VP Janelle Rodriguez introduced the adjustments in a notice Wednesday.

“Christine brings deep expertise and clarity to complex, fast-moving stories, from inflation and government shutdowns to the global impact of war and the forces shaping the modern economy,” the NBC executives wrote in a letter obtained by the Hollywood Reporter. “She has a track record of landing interviews with leading CEOs and influential voices across a range of industries.”

According to the report, the senior enterprise correspondent for NBC News will turn out to be chief enterprise correspondent for the community and anchor a new two-hour program for NBC News Now, beginning in the summertime.

Romans joined NBC from NCS in 2023, the place she had been co-anchor of the morning present “Early Start.”
