NCS’s Jake Tapper had an unique interview with Lyndsey Fifield, a former girlfriend of Graham Platner’s, the Democratic nominee within the US Senate election in Maine. Fifield alleged Platner bodily abused her over a decade in the past. This interview comes a day after Tapper interviewed a girl who accused Platner of rape, which he denies. NCS reached out to the Platner marketing campaign following the interview with Lyndsey Fifield. The marketing campaign has denied Platner was violent in the direction of ladies. In response to questions from NCS about Fifield’s allegations, the marketing campaign mentioned, “This claim is categorically false and comes from a person with a well-documented political agenda.”
