On 9 July 2026, the Faculty of Economics at Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Suthin Wianwiwat, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, formally welcomed a delegation of executives from Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST), People’s Republic of China. The welcoming committee included Assistant Professor Prasert Wichitnopparat, Associate Dean for Research, Innovation, Academic Services, and Corporate Communications, alongside Assistant Professor Thanyamas Sarungboommee, Ph.D., Head of the Department. The visiting delegation from KUST was led by Mr Yang Chaojun, Dean of the School of International Education. He was accompanied by Mr Peng Dinghong, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics; Ms Xu Ying, Director of the General Office on the School of International Education; Ms Tang Jiechen, Faculty Assistant on the Faculty of Management and Economics; and Mr Yu Shitao, Secretary of the Faculty of Management and Economics.
The main goal of this go to was to change institutional data concerning KUST and the Faculty of Economics at KKU, whereas exploring avenues for multi-dimensional tutorial cooperation. Associate Professor Wianwiwat acknowledged that welcoming the manager group from Kunming University of Science and Technology offered a wonderful alternative for each establishments to change views on academic administration and analysis. He famous that KUST is an establishment with notable strengths in administration and economics in Southern China, which aligns with and enhances the event objectives of the Faculty of Economics at Khon Kaen University. He added that cooperating throughout educational supply, pupil exchanges, and joint analysis can be extremely helpful for elevating the capabilities of college students and personnel from each universities.
This dialogue marks a progressive step in strengthening the worldwide cooperation community of the Faculty of Economics at Khon Kaen University and Kunming University of Science and Technology.
