Former Washington Post government editor Marty Baron criticizes Jeff Bezos, who owns the newspaper, for driving away subscribers. Yesterday, the Washington Post laid off a whole lot of employees after Bezos has been pushing his administration staff to return the paper to profitability. Bezos had no quick remark concerning the cutbacks.
