JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Valley City State University freshman Gretchen Deaver gained a person title in American Trap through the 2026 Spring ND State Collegiate Shooting Sports Championship.
Deaver hit 94 out of 100 pictures as she tied for the High Female award in American Trap singles. She went on to win the person title in a shoot-off competitors.
As a workforce, VCSU Shooting Sports positioned 4th out of 8 groups within the Team Trap competitors. Deaver, Cali Steffan, Andy Nelson, Ty Awender and Jake Hennings have been VCSU’s prime 5 shooters on the day.
The Spring Collegiate Championships have been held April 25 in Jamestown.
