DAYTON, Ohio — As the 2026 FIFA World Cup prepares to kick off, there’s some extra Ohio-specific information hitting the timeline: The Dayton World Soccer Games is again.
The City of Dayton has introduced in a press launch Wednesday that workforce registration is open now for the video games, that are scheduled to happen on Sept. 12 on the Kettering Field Sports Complex.
“Hosted by the Department of Recreation in partnership with Welcome Dayton, the Dayton World Soccer Games first brought together immigrant and native-born residents in 2012 through the shared passion for soccer,” the discharge reads. “The event celebrates Dayton’s diversity while promoting inclusion, sportsmanship, and community pride.”
