Dave Chappelle to CNN during July 4 celebration: ‘I see why Trump gets mad at y’all’


Dave Chappelle created a stir on social media along with his response to Andy Cohen and Andeson Cooper during a reside spot on NCS as a part of the community’s protection of Fourth of July weekend celebrations.

“Hey Dave, you are so emblematic to the idea of free speech, tell me tonight as we look at the 250th anniversary of this country why you are proud to be an American,” Cohen requested Chappelle. “And how do view our country today?”

Chappelle appeared up and responded.

“Boy … that’s a loaded question,” the comic stated. “Now I see why Trump gets mad at y’all all the time. Why would you ask me that?”

Chappelle laughed it off earlier than persevering with.

“Alright, I got an answer for that,” he stated. “I don’t agree with everything that our government does, but the one thing that I really consistent believe and that I love about being an American is my countrymen. If I’m overseas or around the world, anytime I see an American we just give each other the ‘Fight Club’ look because we live in a madness that only we understand what it’s all about.

“And I have faith in my countrymen,” Chappelle added. “Not matter how crazy all this will make you feel. The sun will rise and I feel like I’m part of an incredible community. So, God bless my countrymen and let us make this country absolutely great.”

The crowd cheered behind Chappelle, and Cohen and Cooper tapped their beers collectively and stated, “Cheers to that.”

“And Mr. Trump, please leave those Haitians in Springfield alone,” Chappelle added. “We love them. We love the Haitians.”

Right-wing influencer Bo Loudon was amongst these to take Chappelle’s spot and run with it on the political entrance.

“Dave Chappelle just ADMITTED President Trump is RIGHT to ‘get mad’ at NCS ‘all of the time’ after they asked him why he’s proud to be an American,” he wrote on X.
