DHAKA, April 25, 2026 (BSS) – A resolution on sustainable bioeconomy, initiated by Bangladesh, has been adopted within the 82nd session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), which concluded on Friday in Bangkok. 

Bangladesh, beneath the management of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam, led the adoption of the landmark resolution.
