Al Hilal: an Al Ittihad legend blasts Karim Benzema
Karim Benzema signed with Al Hilal throughout this winter switch window. But the Frenchman’s transfer is seen poorly at Al Ittihad.
Arriving this winter at Al Hilal from Al Ittihad, Karim Benzema has already modified surroundings, leaving the reigning Saudi Pro League champions for the present league leaders. This switch to a direct rival has been arduous to swallow in Saudi Arabia. Mohammed Noor, a real Al Ittihad legend who performed for the membership from 1994 to 2013 and once more from 2014 to 2016, didn’t recognize the Frenchman’s choice. On the present Dawrina Gher, Mohammed Noor took purpose at Karim Benzema.
“The first season Benzema arrived at Al Ittihad, what did he actually do? He did nothing, right? And the following season? He tore it up. Who was really supporting him? Who was encouraging him? How many penalties did he miss with Al Ittihad? After his first season, he missed five or six penalties. And what did the supporters do? They backed him. They supported the whole team, and we won the league and the cup. Am I right or not? And after all that, now you come in the middle of the season and tell me you don’t want to play for this team anymore? But who are you, really? With all due respect for the career he’s had, what does he have that Ronaldo doesn’t? We don’t even mention him in the same breath. He’s nobody.” he declared.
