Hayrapetyan held conferences within the White House along with his colleague, Michael Kratsios, Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and Principal Advisor to the U.S. President on Science and Technology; Sriram Krishnan, Senior White House Policy Advisor on Artificial Intelligence; Dean Ball, Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology; and Jonathan Askonas, Representative of the Policy Planning Division of the U.S. Department of State.
According to Hayrapetyan, Kratsios offered the U.S. authorities’s motion plan and strategic targets within the discipline of science and technology. In flip, the minister offered Armenia’s applications and priorities in semiconductor design, synthetic intelligence, and scientific analysis, together with state improvement applications, the creation of the AI Virtual Institute, and the format of state assist for an funding program of about 500 million USD in Armenia by FirebirdAI in partnership with NVIDIA, which has already utilized for permission to export the related infrastructure for the AI knowledge processing middle. “I also proposed considering the possibility of introducing a mechanism for simplifying the issuance of export permits in such cases, which we will discuss in a bilateral format in the near future,” Hayrapetyan added.
