William A. Geiser, 75, of Montoursville, died Monday, September 8, 2025, at his residence.

Born July 17, 1950, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Gordon and Betty (Wise) Geiser. He and his spouse, the previous Joyce D. Steinbacher, celebrated 50 years of marriage on August 9, 2025.

Bill was a graduate of Montoursville High School, Class of 1968. Following his commencement, he served honorably within the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Eugene Grafius American Legion Post 104, Montoursville and a former member of the Montoursville Fire Department.

Bill loved looking and spent a few years teaching youth sports activities. These included John Bower Church Basketball, Little League baseball and softball, and junior excessive ladies’ and boys’ basketball. He additionally was the JV and assistant varsity softball coach at Montoursville for a number of years. Bill served on the Montoursville Little League board of administrators.

He was meticulous with the care and upkeep of his autos. Bill additionally took nice satisfaction in his garden and spent hours sustaining it. He was an avid sports activities fan who beloved the New York Yankees. His love for the Yankees developed as a baby and continued all through his life. He additionally beloved Notre Dame soccer and UNC Basketball, heartily cheering for them via the years. Bill loved the camaraderie with members of the Brickyard Mug Club the place he developed many friendships.

Surviving, along with his spouse, is a son, Aaron Geiser of Montoursville; twin daughters, Ashley (Christopher) Adomiak of Williamsport, and Alison (George) Landgrebe of Montoursville, and two grandsons, Gordon and Grant Landgrebe.

Funeral providers will probably be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. David C. Smith officiating. Burial will observe in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends might name from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday on the funeral residence.
