A roundabout close to Zalaegerszeg in western Hungary sits empty years after it was made. It was constructed with 500 million forints (about $1.5 million) of funds from the European Union to service a container terminal on a brand new railway line that may assist present this landlocked a part of central Europe with higher entry to the ocean.
