ROOSEVELT, Utah — More than 1,300 college students descended upon Utah State University Uintah Basin’s Roosevelt campus for the second annual STEAM Expo on Oct. 2-3. Students in grades Fifth-Eighth participated within the occasion, which goals to foster pleasure for math, science and the humanities.
“We had about 1,300 students from Duchesne and Uintah County schools along with many homeschool students and about 30 different exhibitors for the expo,” mentioned Don Busenbark, assistant division head of arithmetic and statistics for Statewide Campuses and one of many leaders of the expo. “Students were able to learn about fossils, drones, art, oil careers and technology, building trades, engineering, health, CPR, fire, police, coding, chemistry, robotics, animals, etc.”
