The Philippines’ Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute’s (DOST-SEI) has rolled out nuLab: STEM in Motion to strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education within the nation.
The nuLab: STEM in Motion is a mobile learning facility that delivers hands-on studying experiences, specializing in areas like marine science, knowledge science, climate science, earth science, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Speaking to GovInsider, DOST-SEI Research Supervisor Juan Antonio R Tuazon says nuLab: STEM in Motion brings these specialised matters immediately to college students, particularly in distant and underserved areas.
Noting that the programme makes advanced ideas extra accessible and interesting, Tuazon provides that learners not solely discover these disciplines in an interactive setting guided by scientists and consultants, but in addition develop larger curiosity, confidence, and curiosity in pursuing STEM-related paths.
The nuLab has been recognised as a nationwide precedence programme in 2024 by the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA).
The programme is a part of the federal government’s efforts to strengthen STEM education within the nation.
