The US army carried out a strike in opposition to one other alleged drug-trafficking boat on Friday, killing three folks, based on US Southern Command.
“On Feb. 13, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations,” SOUTHCOM wrote on X, including that no US army personnel have been harmed within the strike.

The assertion didn’t specify the place the strike passed off however mentioned “Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations.”
At least 124 folks have now been killed in strikes on suspected drug boats as a part of Operation Southern Spear, a marketing campaign the Trump administration says is aimed toward curbing narcotics trafficking.
