WISE, the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability, is a long-term programme supporting analysis and infrastructure inside sustainable supplies science. Through the WISE Research Technology Platforms, new gear has been delivered to Chalmers University of Technology, Linköping University and Uppsala University. Together, the three nodes kind the WISE Additive RTP, aimed toward strengthening Sweden’s nationwide analysis capability in additive manufacturing.
At the AM@Å Lab within the Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University has expanded its amenities with gear for metallic powder manufacturing and characterization, in addition to instruments for post-processing of 3D-printed metallic parts. A brand new micro-CT system offers the flexibility to carry out detailed inner analyses of parts with out harmful testing.
