The University of Guelph has appointed of Dr. Stacey Scott dean of the College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences (CCMPS).

A pc scientist with over 18 years of expertise as a school member and educational chief, Scott will being a five-year time period on April 1, 2026.

Scott beforehand served as interim dean of CCMPS when the school shaped in 2025 and is a professor within the School of Computer Science.
She has held a number of educational management roles since arriving at U of G from the University of Waterloo in 2016, together with chair of strategic planning, assistant director, affiliate director of Graduate Studies and interim director of the Master of Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence program within the School of Computer Science.
