GREENVILLE, N.C. – Released on Thursday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators have launched their Academic All-District® groups for the 2025 Volleyball season. Two Pirates on the squad – Taryn Gilreath and Elle Jackson – have been named with the organizational honor.
Gilreath, a sophomore from Cypress, Texas, had a yr enjoying in 27 matches, totaling 101 units, with 767 assists, holding the highest spot for single-season assists, beating Heidi Krug, who had held the file since 2005. Gilreath earned a 3.68 cumulative GPA whereas she majored in Interior Design and Fashion Merchandising.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women’s Volleyball groups, chosen by College Sports Communicators, honor the nation’s prime student-athletes for excellence on the sector and within the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes should have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA and compete in 90 p.c of their establishment’s matches or begin in a minimum of 66 p.c of them.
