WASHINGTON, Jan 8 (Reuters) – U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte mentioned on Thursday he expects President Donald Trump will decide in the next month or two on whether or not to promote a chunk of the U.S. mortgage businesses Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in an preliminary public providing.

“It is entirely up to the president what he’ll decide to do with regard to the IPO of Fannie and Freddie,” Pulte mentioned in an interview with CNBC.
