‘This may have appeared much more like Sandy Hook,’ gov. says of synagogue assault
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) speaks in regards to the terror assault that occurred at Temple Israel in Michigan. An explosives-laden car plowed into the synagogue, setting it ablaze in what the FBI referred to as a “targeted act of violence against the Jewish community.” The perpetrator, a Lebanese-born US citizen who reportedly misplaced relations in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon, was the one individual killed within the assault.
