Tigers drop pitcher’s duel to Butler
North Allegheny traveled to Pullman Park in Butler, PA to tackle the Golden Tornado of their part opener on Wednesday afternoon. Going up in opposition to Penn State commit Nolan Stefaniak, one of many prime pitchers within the state of Pennsylvania, the Tigers mustered one hit and fell by a rating of 1-0.
Gavin Ust doubled for the lone hit for NA.
Liam Cooper took the loss going 3 2/3 innings permitting two hits and an unearned run. He struck out 5. William Schmidt went an inning and a 3rd of aid and Jude Swartz threw a scoreless inning with two strikeouts.
North Allegheny falls to 3-3 total and 0-1 in part play. Butler improves to 6-2 and 3-1 within the part. The Tigers and Golden Tornado are again at it in the present day at North Allegheny at 4 p.m. This recreation shall be broadcast dwell on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
