On March 17, the 9th Meeting of the Advisory Board for Promoting Science and Technology Diplomacy was held in a hybrid format, with the participation of Prof. MATSUMOTO Yoichiro, Science and Technology Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. KOTANI Motoko, Science and Technology Co-Advisor to the Minister and Dr. NAKAMURA Kimitake, Director-General for Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science.
- In the assembly, Prof. Matsumoto known as for open discussions on the promotion of strategic science and know-how (S&T) diplomacy, the finalization of associated suggestions, and measures to make sure the sensible implementation of associated initiatives, with the view of upcoming “7th Science and Technology Innovation Basic Plan” as a result of start in the subsequent fiscal yr.
