PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Evellyn Croce scored 13 factors Monday to steer the Taconic women basketball workforce to a 39-33 win over Sci-Tech.
Croce scored seven factors within the second quarter, when Taconic constructed a 15-8 half-time lead. And she scored six within the fourth, when Taconic pulled away after the guests acquired inside two.
Toni Ahoussi scored six of her eight factors in that fourth quarter, as effectively.
Kiannah Josephs completed with 9 factors and, together with Croce, led Taconic on the boards.
“Melanie Hamilton did a great job guarding Sci-Tech’s best player, holding her to only eight points for the game,” Taconic coach Jason Conuel mentioned.
Taconic (2-10) goes to Wahconah on Wednesday.
