The countdown is underway for the 2026 Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair, scheduled for April 11 at St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School.
The annual occasion is open to college students in Grades 4 by way of 12 from throughout the Quinte area, offering a chance to current science, expertise and innovation projects to judges, friends and group members.
Organizers are encouraging college students to start work on their projects early to enable time for analysis, experimentation and preparation. Projects can vary from innovations and scientific research to environmental analysis.
In addition to gaining expertise presenting their work, college students might be eligible for awards and scholarships.
“The fair is not just about competition; it’s about collaboration and inspiration,” mentioned occasion co-chair Scott Berry. “We want students to explore their interests in science and technology and share their findings with the world.”
Student and instructor registration opened Jan. 1, 2026. Judges can register starting Jan. 5.
