The two-day Science Conclave 2026 “Empowering Lives with Science and Technology: A Quantum Leap into a Sustainable Future,” concluded on Friday with a valedictory ceremony held at Kurukshetra University.

The conclave was organised by the college in collaboration with the Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology, with the target of fostering scientific mood, innovation and consciousness amongst faculty and school college students throughout the state. The chief visitor on the valedictory session, Vijay Nadda, Sangathan Mantri (North Zone), Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan, underscored the necessity to align scientific development with environmental accountability and societal wants.

He urged college students to domesticate and strengthen scientific mood for the progress of the nation. Prof Som Nath Sachdeva, VC, Kurukshetra University, highlighted that the conclave had supplied a vibrant platform for younger minds to discover data creation, experiential studying, scientific concepts, innovation, and rising applied sciences. Strong basic sciences had been key to sustainable future, the VC added.

Prof Sachdeva cited the contributions of Indian students to science, expertise and engineering, referring to Aryabhata, Pingala, the event of algebra and trigonometry, developments in metallurgy and the pioneering work of Charaka and Sushruta, considered the fathers of medication and cosmetic surgery, respectively.

Deputy Director, Public Relations, Jimmy Sharma mentioned the second day of the conclave commenced with a Science-in-Action programme carried out by Science Panorama, led by Suresh Soni and his staff. Dr Sangeeta Saini, organising secretary, mentioned 2,000 college students from numerous colleges participated within the conclave.
