Stephanie Elam is closing her chapter at NCS.
The longtime correspondent on the cable information community introduced that she’s leaving after greater than 20 years.
“For more than 20 years I’ve been in the NCS orbit developing and delivering news stories on everything from the environment and entertainment to business and breaking news of all kinds,” Stephanie said in a statement launched on social media April 18. “I’m so proud of my NCS career. Live or taped, writing packages or doing a show-and-tell, I’ve done it all—and having a front row seat to document history has been a gift.”
The 52-year-old—who spent a number of years on the firm as a New York-based correspondent, left for just a few years to work at KNBC after which returned to NCS in 2013, the place she was primarily a Los Angeles-based correspondent throughout her second stint—recorded her closing phase on NCS with longtime colleague and pal Sara Snider, who paid tribute to Stephanie with some emotional phrases of her personal.
