“My older sister started playing softball and kinda grew a love for it too,” Sparrow stated. “As a younger sister, I decided to join in on what she was doing, and that’s where I got into it. She was a pitcher and needed a catcher, so my parents threw me in to catch for her, and from there it was history.”

“The biggest thing for me is how to stay level,” Sparrow stated. “I mean, I use this as a place to like practice staying level cause in life, you never know what’s going to be thrown at you, so learning to manage my headspace and any adversity, I think, has really helped me.”
Now wholesome, Sparrow is taking part in a key position on the Marauders’ roster, and doing it as the one North Dakotan on it.
